I am a bilingual journalist, photographer, TV and event producer, with 10 years of experience in multimedia platforms, focusing on nonprofits and human rights work. I’m highly experienced in strategy, content creation and content management across all social media platforms. My creativity, proactive work ethic, exceptional people skills, and ability to work under tight deadlines set me apart from others in the market. I always looking for a challenge to test my experience and knowledge.
I have a bachelor’s degree in mass communication from Rafael Belloso Chacín University in Maracaibo, Venezuela. My previous work experience includes digital content producer for several TV Channels in Venezuela such as RCTV and Sun Channel.
I have a strong interest in nonprofit work, and since 2008, I worked for Amnesty International Venezuela as a campaigner and press officer. After moving to Miami in 2013, I became director of a project to increase the awareness of human rights issues in the Latino community of South Florida (Ad Honoren).
I also work on various projects as a TV Producer for TV Venezuela, a major TV channel dedicated to the Venezuelan community in the U.S.
in 2015/2016 I worked in a boutique marketing agency BTL Network as Strategy & Communications Executive, I’m in charge of implementing communication and PR plans for clients like Cala Enterprises, Back To Scratch Method and Florida Blue
Since April 2017 I moved to Richmond Virginia, working with New Virginia Majority, Virginia’s leading civic engagement organization, that builds power in working-class communities of color across the Commonwealth. Organizing around issues of racial, economic, and environmental justice year-round through political education, intensive leadership development, mobilization, and mass-scale voter outreach. I’m the Richmond Field Office manager.
